1. Selection of materials and paints
   The choice of paints and materials is crucial to ensure that the customized color withstands the harsh operational conditions to which aerial platforms are subjected. The paints used must be of high quality, resistant to UV rays, salt spray, corrosion, and chemical agents.
2. The shot blasting process
   CMC has an 8-turbine shot blasting system. This process is used to remove scale, grease, and rust, preparing the platform for painting and achieving an SA3 grade.
3. The Painting process
   CMC uses powder coating, a process for coating metal surfaces with an organic film for decorative purposes and protection against corrosion and aggressive agents. The workpieces are coated with paint powder based on synthetic resins (such as epoxy powders), which adheres electrostatically and is then baked in an oven where, under high temperatures, the paint melts and polymerizes, creating an adherent layer. We have a bi-rail system with dimensions of 7000 mm length, 1700 mm width, and 2200 mm height.
   All our products receive two layers of paint. The first layer is a primer, offering exceptional protection against corrosion of ferrous metal surfaces (against both natural and chemical agents, even in highly aggressive environments). The second layer applies the RAL (color), using paints exclusively produced by CMC. This approach allows us to achieve high-quality levels, also thanks to the ACE standard.
4. Logistics and timing
   Color customization requires careful logistical management to avoid delays in production and delivery. It is essential to have an efficient order management system that can coordinate custom color requests with the production process.
