Aerial platforms: CMC stars at September’s leading trade fair
September 2024 will be a particularly busy month, as per tradition, for the sector of the MEWP operating in the aerial access market.
Indeed, several fairs take place in the ninth month of the year, with CMC as the absolute star of the shows.
Platformers’ Days
Starting on September 6 and 7, Platformers’ Days is an event that combines practical machine experiences with opportunities for direct discussion on the sector’s trending topics. The Karlsruhe fair is dedicated to the aerial lifting of goods and people and high-access technology.
The Baden-Württemberg industrial hub has been bringing together the who-is-who of the aerial work platforms, cranes, and forklifts sectors for over 20 years.
CMC will be present at stand F300. An opportunity to showcase live the S30, S23, S18F, and S15 aerial platforms.
During this event, the new addition to the CMC family, the new CMC S20, which, at 20 meters in height, offers the best performance in the global MEWP market, will be unveiled for the German market.
Vertikal Days 2024
Vertikal Days 2024 will take place on September 11 and 12. It is the largest event dedicated to height work devices in the United Kingdom.
For the first time in its history, VD will be held at the Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire, UK. It will provide an overview of the launches of the major manufacturers of cranes, aerial platforms, and telescopic handlers.
On this occasion, as per the Italian brand’s tradition, a CMC MEWP has been selected as the best-in-class model by IPAF for reliability and safety. The International Powered Access Federation is an organization that educates on the safe and conscious use of aerial platforms par excellence. It is recognized internationally and promotes and ensures the safe and effective use of mobile aerial access equipment worldwide.
For the 2024 edition, the British entity’s attention has fallen on the CMC S15, which IPAF selected as the platform at the sector’s leading safety entity stand.

Galabau 2024
We return to Germany from September 11 to 14. CMC will indeed be among the protagonists of Galabau 2024, the fair held every two years at Messe Nurnberg in Nuremberg. The event is capable of attracting over 1,300 exhibitors and more than 70,000 visitors from all over the world.

APF Show 2024
From September 19 to 21, it will be the turn of the APF Show 2024. The UK’s largest forestry and arboriculture exhibition, with an entire section dedicated to height work equipment. An event that attracts over 320 exhibitors and as many as 23.000 visitors.
The fair will be held at Ragley Estate in Warwickshire. CMC will be present with a stand showcasing the main aerial platforms for 2025.
